Uriah Heep – Wonderworld (VG+/VG) – LP, AU 1974

Wonderworld is an LP by Uriah Heep from 1974 released on the Bronze label.

About this album

Wonderworld finds Uriah Heep sharpening their hard rock heft into a darker, more ambitious form. Released in 1974, the album came from the band’s classic early-70s line-up and builds on their blend of thunderous guitar, organ-led drama and prog-rock scale. It marked another step in the group’s run of big, theatrical rock records after the breakthrough success of Demons and Wizards and The Magician’s Birthday. With the title track, “The Easy Road” and “Something or Nothing” among its key moments, Wonderworld shows why Uriah Heep remained one of British rock’s most distinctive and recognisable bands at their commercial peak.
