Pink Moon reduces Nick Drake's music to voice, acoustic guitar and one brief piano overdub. The 11 songs last less than half an hour, but their unusual tunings and precise phrasing reward close listening. The album sold little during Drake's lifetime and later became the clearest entry point to his small catalogue.
