Come Out And Play is a punchy hard rock statement from Twisted Sister, sharpening the band’s glam-metal swagger into a more focused 1985 album. Produced by David Kershenbaum, it arrived after the huge success of Stay Hungry and tried to keep the band in the mainstream while preserving their rowdy, rebellious persona. The record blends fist-pumping anthems with more polished studio craft, and is best remembered for songs such as Leader of the Pack and Be Chrool to Your Scuel. Though less commercially dominant than its predecessor, it remains a key part of Twisted Sister’s mid-80s run.
