Renegade is an LP by Thin Lizzy from 1981 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.
About this album
Renegade is a tough, underrated late-period Thin Lizzy album that refines the band’s hard-rock attack into a leaner, darker statement. Issued in 1981, it was the final studio album before the group’s split and features the line-up of Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham, Snowy White, Darren Wharton, Brian Downey and recurring session drummer Mark Nauseef. Recorded at Good Earth Studios and produced by Thin Lizzy with Kit Woolven, it balances muscular riffs with sharper, more reflective writing on songs such as the title track and Angel of Death. The record closes one chapter of one of rock’s great twin-guitar bands.
