The Sweet – Sweet Fanny Adams (VG/VG+) – LP, AU 1974

Sweet Fanny Adams is an LP by The Sweet from 1974 released on the RCA Victor label.

About this album

Sweet Fanny Adams is the album where The Sweet pushed beyond bubblegum fame into harder, more aggressive glam rock. Released in 1974, it showed the band moving from novelty-hit expectations towards a tougher sound built on crunching riffs, tight harmonies and a heavier rhythm section. With songs such as Sweet F.A. and AC/DC, the record helped establish their harder edge and remains one of the group’s most respected works. It is widely regarded as a key moment in The Sweet’s transition from hit singles band to serious rock act, bridging pop accessibility and hard-rock bite.
