The Stylistics – Fabulous (VG/VG+) – LP, US 1976

Fabulous is an LP by The Stylistics from 1976 released on the H & L Records label.

About this album

Fabulous is a warm, elegant late-period Stylistics album that keeps their Philadelphia soul sound supple and romantic. Released in 1976, it finds the group working with the smooth harmonies and plush arrangements that made them stand out in the soul era, while leaning into refined ballads and gently grooving material. Their version of Can’t Help Falling in Love and originals such as You Are and Baby, Don’t Change Your Mind show how The Stylistics could make restraint feel intensely expressive. As a 1970s soul set, it reflects the group’s enduring gift for graceful melody, vocal blend and emotional polish.
