The Other Side Of Life is an LP by The Moody Blues from 1986 released on the Polydor label.
About this album
The Other Side Of Life finds The Moody Blues successfully updating their symphonic rock formula for the mid-1980s. Released in 1986, the album leans into polished pop-rock arrangements and synthesised textures while keeping the group’s melodic gift and expansive mood intact. It marked a strong commercial return in the US, helped by the enduring single Your Wildest Dreams, which became one of the band’s biggest late-career hits. As one of the Moody Blues’ final major chart statements, the record shows how their ornate, romantic style could adapt to a more radio-friendly era without losing its identity.
