The Jackson 5 – ABC (NM/NM) – LP, IT 2022

ABC is an LP by The Jackson 5 from 2022 released on the Motown label.

About this album

ABC is the sparkling breakout that confirmed The Jackson 5 as one of Motown’s most bankable young groups. Released in 1970, it followed the phenomenal success of their debut and sharpened the formula with a tougher soul-funk edge alongside immaculate pop hooks. Anchored by the title hit and the propulsive The Love You Save, the album showcases the group’s tight harmonies, The Corporation’s sharp songwriting and the youthful vocal charisma of Michael Jackson. Its huge commercial success helped make teen pop feel fresh, urgent and stylish, and it remains one of the clearest statements of early-1970s Motown ambition.
