Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is an LP by The Cure from 1987 released on the Elektra label.
About this album
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is one of The Cure’s most ambitious and commercially successful albums, broadening the band’s sound into bright pop, gothic unease and psychedelic sprawl. Released in 1987, it followed the breakthrough success of The Head on the Door and showed Robert Smith stretching the group’s palette with sharper hooks, heavier textures and more varied moods. Driven by landmark singles such as Just Like Heaven and Why Can’t I Be You?, the album helped cement The Cure’s status as one of the defining alternative bands of the 1980s, balancing accessibility with the restless experimentation that made them so influential.
