    About this album

Limelight (The Best Of Vol. 2) is a strong snapshot of The Alan Parsons Project’s polished blend of pop-rock, electronics and progressive studio craft. Issued in 1987, this compilation draws from the group’s later-period catalogue, bringing together signature moments such as the title track, Ammonia Avenue, Prime Time and The Turn Of A Friendly Card. Built around the production partnership of Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson, the project became known for immaculate arrangements, conceptual scope and a cool, melodic sound that bridged mainstream radio and album-oriented rock. This collection highlights why the band remained one of the most distinctive acts of the late 1970s and 1980s.
