Truce is an LP by Jack Bruce, Robin Trower from 1981 released on the Chrysalis label.
About this album
Truce is a strong late-career collaboration between Jack Bruce and Robin Trower, bringing together two of British rock’s most distinctive players. Issued in 1981, the album blends blues rock and hard rock with Bruce’s elastic bass lines and gritty, soulful vocals alongside Trower’s sharp, expressive guitar. Built around taut original material such as Gonna Shut You Down and Little Boy Lost, it captures the pair turning chemistry into purposeful, heavy-edged songcraft. For listeners drawn to Cream, Trower’s solo work or muscular 1980s blues-rock, Truce stands as a focused meeting of styles rather than a mere star pairing.
