Home is an LP by Procol Harum from 1970 released on the A&M Records label.

About this album

Home shows Procol Harum moving beyond their early hit-driven image into darker, more expansive territory. Released in 1970, the album blends blues rock, psychedelic colour and prog ambition, with Matthew Fisher and Gary Brooker helping to shape a more dramatic, tightly arranged sound. The record features some of the group’s most forceful material, including the hard-driving Whisky Train and the brooding Whaling Stories, and it stands as an important bridge between their early singles success and the more fully developed progressive rock of the 1970s. For many listeners, it is one of the group’s strongest and most cohesive studio statements.
