Little River Band – Little River Band (E/VG) – LP, AU

Little River Band is an LP by Little River Band released on the EMI label.

About this album

Little River Band’s debut set out the band’s polished, harmony-rich pop-rock with real confidence. Released in 1975, it introduced the melodic, radio-friendly style that would help make the group one of Australia’s most successful exports. Built around bright guitar work, layered vocals and strong songwriting, the album includes early signatures such as It’s A Long Way There and Curiosity (Killed The Cat), both of which helped establish the band’s blend of accessible hooks and muscular musicianship. As a first statement, it signalled a group ready to move beyond local success and into the wider classic rock conversation.
