KC And The Sunshine Band (Part 3) is an LP by KC & The Sunshine Band from 1976 released on the RCA Victor label.
About this album
Part 3 is KC & The Sunshine Band at their most assured, turning disco into a lean, hook-rich pop machine. Issued in 1976, the album follows the breakthrough of the band’s biggest singles and includes “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty” and “I’m Your Boogie Man”, songs that helped define the mid-70s disco crossover. Built on Harry Wayne Casey’s compact songwriting, bright arrangements and relentless rhythmic drive, the record captured the group’s knack for making club music that worked just as well on pop radio. It remains one of the era’s most recognisable commercial disco albums.
