KC & The Sunshine Band Vinyl Records

KC & The Sunshine Band is an American funk and disco band that was founded in 1973 by songwriter, record producer and singer Harry Wayne Casey, also known as “KC”. Their breakthrough hit, “Get Down Tonight”, was released in 1975 and it was the first of a series of hit singles and albums.

The group's most successful albums are 1975's “KC and the Sunshine Band”, 1976's “Part 3”, and 1977's “The Best of KC and the Sunshine Band”. Some of their standout songs include “That’s the Way (I Like It)”, “Shake Your Booty”, “I’m Your Boogie Man”, and “Please Don’t Go”.

An interesting fact about KC & The Sunshine Band is that they were the first musical act to have four number one singles from one album, with the release of “Part 3” in 1976.
