City To City is an LP by Gerry Rafferty from 1986 released on the Liberty label.

About this album

City to City is Gerry Rafferty’s breakthrough solo album, and the one that turned him from cult songwriter into a major pop presence. Released in 1978, it balances polished pop-rock writing with a rueful, human edge, anchored by the worldwide hit Baker Street and the equally enduring Right Down the Line. Rafferty’s distinctive voice and melodic instinct give the album its lasting appeal, while its clean studio sound helped define late-1970s soft rock and adult-oriented pop. The record became a major international success and remains the clearest statement of Rafferty’s gifts as a songwriter and singer.
