Gene Clark – No Other
Long underestimated, finally reissued
45 years ago, singer-songwriter and Byrds founding member Gene Clark released his fourth solo album »No Other«.
"No Other" is Clark's fourth solo album. It originally appeared in September 1974 and combines psychedelic rock, folk, country and soul. The pieces "Life’s Greatest Fool" and the title track appeared as singles.
For the new edition, the songs were remastered in the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Finally reissued: Gene Clark's solo album "No Other" is a long-underestimated classic.
»One of the greatest albums ever made. Initially celebrated for its obscurity, No Other is now celebrated for its magnificence. It was in every way a magnum opus: epic, sprawling, poetic, choral, rococo. « (The Guardian)
