About this album

Killer On The Rampage is the album that turned Eddy Grant into a major international reggae-pop force. Released in 1982, it blended Caribbean rhythm, pop hooks and sharp social commentary with a streamlined, radio-ready sound that helped carry Grant well beyond his earlier work with the Equals. Powered by the worldwide hits Electric Avenue and I Don’t Wanna Dance, the album balances dancefloor energy with political bite and melodic ease. Its crossover success made Grant one of the era’s most distinctive voices, bringing reggae into the mainstream without losing its edge.
