About this album
Live/1975-85 is a career-defining live set that captures Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at full strength across their first decade together. Issued in 1986, the three-LP collection draws from performances spanning the Born to Run breakthrough through the Born in the U.S.A. era, presenting Springsteen as both marathon showman and deeply expressive storyteller. The set’s version of ‘Thunder Road’, ‘Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)’ and ‘Hungry Heart’ helped cement his reputation for transforming studio songs into communal anthems. Broad in scope and relentless in energy, it stands as one of the great concert documents of rock’s modern era.
