Live is an LP by America from 1977 released on the Warner Bros. Records label.

About this album

America’s Live is a polished snapshot of the band’s early success, drawing on the melodic soft rock and folk-rock that made them a major FM-radio presence in the 1970s. Released in 1977, the album captures a group already known for clean harmonies, acoustic colour and a distinctly California ease, with live readings of signature songs such as Ventura Highway, Sister Golden Hair and A Horse With No Name. Rather than reinventing the material, the performance underscores the strength of the writing and the group’s smooth vocal blend. For listeners, it stands as a succinct document of America at commercial peak, translating their studio favourites into a warm concert setting.
