An interesting fact about America is that the group was formed by three British musicians: Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell, and Dan Peek. The trio had all moved to London from their respective homes in the United States and decided to form a band. They named the group America and went on to become one of the most successful folk rock groups of all time.
