From Celtic Roots... is an LP by Alan Stivell from 1973 released on the Fontana label.
About this album
Chemins De Terre is a landmark in Alan Stivell’s Celtic revival work, bringing Breton tradition into sharp focus through acoustic folk and folk-rock arrangements. Issued in 1973, the album helped establish Stivell as a leading voice in modern Breton music, balancing heritage material with a contemporary, forward-looking sound. Its mix of traditional melodies, harp-led textures and driving rhythmic passages gave regional song a wider international reach and helped define the early 1970s folk revival in continental Europe. For listeners drawn to acoustic music with strong cultural roots, it remains one of Stivell’s most significant statements.
