Alan Stivell is a Breton musician and singer, born in 1944 in Riom, France. He is a major figure in the Celtic music revival and is often credited as the pioneer of Celtic rock. Stivell's most popular albums include Renaissance of the Celtic Harp (1972), Chemins de Terre (1974), E Langonned (1976), and 1 Douar (1980). His standout songs include “Suite Sudarmoricaine,” “Celtic Reel,” “Morning Dew,” “Gwennilied,” and “An Dro.”
