Post-Modern
Post-modern music is a broad umbrella term for a variety of musical styles and genres that have evolved since the late 1960s. These styles range from avant-garde and experimental music to more accessible forms such as minimalism, neo-romanticism, and even neo-classical music. Post-modern music is a response to the classical music of the past, and it often features elements of modern technology and electronic instruments, as well as popular music influences. It is a very eclectic genre, and its composers often strive to create something new and original. Post-modern music has been embraced by many popular musicians, including Bjork, Radiohead, David Bowie, and Tom Waits.
