Phoebe Bridgers is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. She began her musical career in the early 2010s, releasing her debut album Stranger in the Alps in 2017 to critical acclaim. The album featured the hit single "Motion Sickness," which has been streamed more than 25 million times on Spotify.

Bridgers' second album, Punisher, was released in 2020 to further critical acclaim. The album features the singles "Kyoto," "Garden Song," and "I See You," which were all featured in Bridgers' Tiny Desk Concert in August 2020. The album also earned Bridgers her first Grammy Award nomination, for Best Alternative Music Album.

Bridgers' third album, Copycat Killer, was released in 2021 to widespread critical acclaim. The album features the singles "I Know the End" and "Kyoto," which were both featured in Bridgers' Saturday Night Live performance in May 2021.

An interesting fact about Bridgers is that she is a member of the supergroup Boygenius, alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The trio released their debut self-titled EP in 2018, which featured the single "Stay Down."
