New Jack Swing

New Jack Swing is a style of music that combines elements of hip-hop, R&B, and dance music. It was developed in the late 1980s and early 1990s by producers such as Teddy Riley, Antonio "L.A." Reid, and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. The style gained popularity with the release of Bobby Brown's 1988 album Don't Be Cruel and the group Guy's 1988 self-titled album. It was a popular form of music in the 1990s, and is still used today in various forms.
