Killing Joke Vinyl Records

Killing Joke is an English post-punk band formed in London in 1978. The original lineup included Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards), Geordie Walker (guitar), Paul Ferguson (drums) and Youth (bass). Their music has been described as a blend of punk, heavy metal, and gothic rock, with a lyrical focus on political and social issues.

Killing Joke's breakthrough album was 1983's Fire Dances, which featured the songs "Eighties" and "Love Like Blood". The band's most successful album was 1985's Night Time, which spawned the singles "Eighties" and "Adorations". This album also featured the song "Kings and Queens", which was later covered by Metallica.

Other notable Killing Joke albums include Pandemonium (1994), Democracy (1996), Killing Joke (2003) and Absolute Dissent (2010). The band's most popular songs include "Eighties", "Love Like Blood", "Kings and Queens" and "The Wait".

An interesting fact about Killing Joke is that they have been cited as an influence by several influential bands, including Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Metallica and Ministry.
