Jon English

Jon English is an English-born Australian singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He is best known for his singing career, particularly in the 1970s, when he had several hits in Australia and New Zealand, including "Turn the Page" and "Hollywood Seven".

English's standout albums include "The Jon English Collection" (1974), "Jon English" (1976), and "The Best of Jon English" (1988). His popular songs include "Turn the Page", "Six Ribbons", "Hollywood Seven", "Hot Town", "Words are Not Enough", and "Everytime I Think of You".

An interesting fact about Jon English is that he starred as Judas Iscariot in the original Australian production of the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar". He won the Logie Award for Best New Talent in 1974 for his performance in the show.
