Hole Vinyl Records

Hole is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 by vocalist and guitarist Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson. The band's lineup changed frequently, with bassists and drummers coming and going throughout the band's history. They were most active from 1989 to 2002 and released four studio albums: Pretty on the Inside (1991), Live Through This (1994), Celebrity Skin (1998) and Nobody's Daughter (2010).

Hole's most successful album was Live Through This, which was certified platinum and released in April 1994. It featured the singles "Miss World" and "Violet", both of which became staples of the alternative rock era. The album also featured "Doll Parts", which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the band's highest-charting single.

Celebrity Skin was Hole's most successful album commercially, debuting at number nine on the Billboard 200 and selling over 1.5 million copies in the US alone. The album featured the singles "Celebrity Skin", "Malibu" and "Awful", all of which were successful on the alternative rock charts.

One interesting fact about Hole is that they were the first major band to have their entire album streamed on the internet before its release. In 1998, their album Celebrity Skin was streamed in its entirety on the band's official website.
