Happy Mondays Vinyl Records

Happy Mondays is an English alternative rock band formed in Salford, Greater Manchester, England, in 1980. The band's original line-up was Shaun Ryder (vocals), his brother Paul Ryder (bass), Mark Day (guitar), Paul Davis (keyboards), and Gary Whelan (drums).

The band's most successful albums are Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches (1990) and Yes Please! (1992). Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches spawned the singles "Step On", "Kinky Afro", "Loose Fit", and "Bob's Yer Uncle". The album is considered a landmark of the Madchester scene and was placed at number 18 in NME's list of the "Greatest Albums of All Time". Yes Please! included the singles "Stinkin' Thinkin'", "Judge Fudge", and "Sunshine and Love".

The band's other notable songs include "Hallelujah", "Wrote for Luck", "Mad Cyril", and "Harmony".

An interesting fact about Happy Mondays is that they were the first Madchester band to sign with a major label, Factory Records, in 1989.
