Glass Animals is an English indie rock band formed in Oxford in 2010. They are comprised of members Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward.

The band's breakthrough came with their 2014 debut album ZABA, which featured the single “Gooey” and was nominated for the 2014 Mercury Prize. Their follow-up album, How to Be a Human Being, was released in 2016 and earned the group their first top 10 album in the UK. The album was also nominated for the 2017 Mercury Prize and featured the singles “Youth”, “Life Itself”, and “Season 2 Episode 3”.

Their third album Dreamland was released in 2020 and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The lead single “Tokyo Drifting”, featuring Denzel Curry, received critical acclaim and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance.

An interesting fact about Glass Animals is that Dave Bayley wrote and recorded the entirety of the band's first album, ZABA, in his bedroom.
