Foo Fighters Vinyl Records

Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1994. The band is fronted by the former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl and consists of members Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee.

The Foo Fighters’ debut album, Foo Fighters, was released in 1995 and was a major success, achieving triple platinum status in the United States and winning a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 1997. The band has since released seven more studio albums, including their most recent Concrete and Gold (2017). Some of the band’s most popular songs include “Learn to Fly,” “Everlong,” “My Hero,” and “Best of You.”

In 2009, the band released a documentary about their career, entitled Back and Forth. The documentary was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Film in 2011.

An interesting fact about the Foo Fighters is that the name of the band was inspired by a World War II term for UFOs and other unknown aircraft.
