Eels Vinyl Records

Eels is an American rock band formed in California in 1995 by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, also known as "E". The band has released twelve studio albums, the latest being Earth to Dora (2020).

The band's breakthrough came with the release of their third studio album, Electro-Shock Blues (1998), which featured the singles "Last Stop: This Town" and "Mr. E's Beautiful Blues". The album showcased a mix of styles, from blues and rock to soul and country, and was praised by critics and fans alike.

Their fourth album, Daisies of the Galaxy (2000), continued their success, with the singles "That's Not Really Funny" and "Flyswatter" receiving heavy airplay. The album was a departure from the band's earlier material, with a more whimsical and melodic sound.

Their fifth album, Souljacker (2001), saw the band embrace a darker and more experimental sound. The singles "Souljacker Part I" and "Fresh Feeling" were standouts on the album, which was the band's first Top 20 hit on the UK Albums Chart.

The band's most commercially successful album was Shootenanny! (2003), which featured the hit singles "Saturday Morning" and "All in a Day's Work". The album marked a return to the band's more melodic and upbeat sound.

In 2010, the band released their eighth studio album, End Times, which featured the single "Spectacular Girl". The band's most recent album is The Deconstruction (2018), which featured the singles "Bone Dry" and "The Deconstruction".

An interesting fact about Eels is that they have released a number of successful soundtrack albums, including music for the films Shrek 2 (2004) and Stranger Than Fiction (2006).
