Crazy Horse is an American rock band formed in 1969 by guitarist Danny Whitten, bassist Billy Talbot, and drummer Ralph Molina. The band is best known for their collaboration with Neil Young, which started in 1969 and continued until Whitten's death in 1972.

Crazy Horse's standout albums include the 1971 album, "Crazy Horse" and the 1975 album, "Zuma". The band is most famous for their work on Neil Young's albums, including "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" (1969), "After the Gold Rush" (1970), "Harvest" (1972), and "Rust Never Sleeps" (1979).

The band's most popular songs include "Cinnamon Girl" (1969), "Down by the River" (1969), "Like a Hurricane" (1977), and "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)" (1979).

An interesting fact about Crazy Horse is that the band was originally named "The Rockets". The name was changed to "Crazy Horse" in 1969, after Young suggested it.
