Blood, Sweat And Tears

Blood, Sweat and Tears is an American jazz-rock band formed in New York City in 1967. The band achieved mainstream success by blending rock, blues and classical music into a unique sound that was described as "blending rock and roll, pop music, jazz, classical, and blues."

The band's breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled second album in 1968, which included the hit single "Spinning Wheel." The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, won a Grammy for Album of the Year and was eventually certified quadruple-platinum. The band's other popular songs include "And When I Die," "You've Made Me So Very Happy," "Go Down Gamblin'" and "Lucretia MacEvil."

The band released six more studio albums over the next decade, all of which achieved varying degrees of commercial success. In 1976, the band disbanded, but they reunited in the 1980s and have continued to tour and record since then.

An interesting fact about Blood, Sweat and Tears is that the band has featured several members over the years, including two drummers and two lead singers. In addition, the band has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
