Ariel Pink is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been recording and performing since the late 1990s. He was initially known for his lo-fi, DIY sound that was heavily influenced by 1980s synthpop and early New Wave music.

Ariel Pink's breakthrough album was The Doldrums, released in 2004. This album featured lo-fi versions of songs that had been previously released as demos. His breakthrough song was "Round and Round," which received considerable airplay in the United States and Europe.

Other notable albums include Before Today (2010) and pom pom (2014). The latter was a departure from his earlier sound and was heavily influenced by glam and psychedelic rock.

One of Ariel Pink's most successful songs is "Only In My Dreams," which was released in 2011 and was featured in the film 21 Jump Street.

An interesting fact about Ariel Pink is that he is an avid collector of vintage synthesizers, which he uses extensively in his music.
