Wilson Phillips is an LP by Wilson Phillips from 1990 released on the SBK Records label.

About this album

Wilson Phillips is a polished pop-rock debut built around immaculate vocal harmonies and carefully crafted songwriting. Released in 1990, it introduced the trio of Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips, daughters of Brian Wilson, John and Michelle Phillips, with a sound that joined soft rock warmth to late-’80s radio precision. The album’s breakthrough single, Hold On, became a major international hit and helped make the group one of the era’s most recognisable pop acts. Across the record, bright melodies, restrained production and strong hooks give the songs a sleek, radio-ready appeal that still defines its appeal today.
