Whitesnake – Ready An' Willing (VG+/VG+) – LP, AU 1980

Ready An' Willing is an LP by Whitesnake from 1980 released on the Atlantic, Mirage, Sunburst label.

About this album

Ready An' Willing sharpened Whitesnake’s blues-rock attack into one of their strongest early hard rock statements. Released in 1980, the album helped cement the band’s reputation after their late-1970s rise, balancing David Coverdale’s soulful vocals with lean riffs, big choruses and a tougher hard rock edge. It includes standout cuts such as Fool For Your Loving, which became one of Whitesnake’s best-known songs and later an enduring live favourite. Straddling blues rock and arena-ready muscle, the record captures the moment when the group were moving beyond their roots into a sound that would make them major heavy rock contenders.
