Make It Big = メイク・イット・ビッグ is an LP by Wham! from 1984 released on the Epic label.
About this album
Make It Big is the album that turned Wham! from hitmakers into global pop royalty. Released in 1984, it sharpened George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley’s exuberant synth-pop into something bigger, sleeker and more assured, mixing danceable pop, soul touches and irresistible hooks. Built around landmarks such as Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and Everything She Wants, the record balanced carefree energy with smart songwriting and helped define mid-1980s mainstream pop. Its huge commercial success, including major international chart impact and the enduring popularity of Careless Whisper from the same era, secured Wham!’s place as one of the decade’s most commercially dominant pop acts.
