In 1978 the Grease soundtrack became a phenomenon. Its good-natured combination of doo wop and early rock & roll is absolutely infectious and charming, due in no small part to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's charismatic and engaging performances. They sing the majority of the tracks here including "Summer Nights," “We Go Together,” "You're the One That I Want," "Greased Lightnin'" and more. Newton-John's rendition of the ballad "Hopelessly Devoted To You" was nominated for an Oscar for Best Song. One of the best-selling soundtracks of all time, available on standard weight double vinyl in a gatefold package.
