Lin-Manuel Miranda – Rise Up! Hamilton: The Anthology (7xLP, 7", Numbered Limited Edition Copper Black Ice Vinyl + Book)

Various Artists' Rise Up! Hamilton: The Anthology arrives as a 10th-anniversary document of a musical that has spent the decade since its 2015 Broadway debut reaching far beyond the theatre. Built around the RIAA Diamond-certified original cast recording, this set also folds in The Hamilton Mixtape, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and the first-ever vinyl pressing of Hamildrops: The Complete Collection. Taken together, it shows how Lin-Manuel Miranda's book, music and lyrics grew from a stage work into a broader pop-cultural world of remixes, responses and offshoots.

The core of the set is still the original cast album, with Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Daveed Diggs, Christopher Jackson and Miranda himself driving a score that fuses hip-hop, R&B, traditional show writing and densely worked historical storytelling. Songs like My Shot, Wait for It and Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story explain why the cast recording became its own phenomenon rather than just a souvenir of the production.

What makes this anthology more than a straight cast-album repackage is its sense of scale. The Hamilton Mixtape brings in artists including The Roots, Nas, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Chance the Rapper and Sia, while the Hamildrops material traces the project's life after opening night. Two previously unreleased tracks add another layer: The HamilTEN Megamix, recorded live at the 2025 Tony Awards, and a Lin-Manuel Miranda demo of My Shot. For anyone interested in how Hamilton moved from Broadway event to continuing musical archive, this is the useful big-picture edition.
