  • T.B. Sheets is an LP by Van Morrison from 1973 released on the Bang Records label.

    About this album

T.B. Sheets is a stark showcase for Van Morrison’s early blues rock, built around some of his most intense and emotionally direct recordings. Issued in 1973, the album gathers material from his formative years and highlights the raw vocal power and unguarded writing that set him apart from his peers. The title track is the centrepiece: a lengthy, feverish lament that turns repetition and atmosphere into mounting drama. Alongside songs such as Madame George and Brown Eyed Girl, it points to the breadth of Morrison’s style, from rough-edged soul and blues feeling to finely observed, deeply personal songwriting.
