A Beard Of Stars is an LP by Tyrannosaurus Rex from 1983 released on the T. Rex label.

About this album

A Beard Of Stars is a pivotal Tyrannosaurus Rex album, marking the point where Marc Bolan’s acoustic folk-psych vision began to harden into something fuller and more electric. Released in 1970, it bridges the duo’s whimsical early style and the more direct, driving approach that would soon define Bolan’s rise with T. Rex. Built around mystical imagery, fluid melodies and stripped-back arrangements, the album includes some of the group’s best-known late-period material, including By The Light Of A Magical Moon and Elemental Child. It stands as a crucial step in Bolan’s transformation into one of British rock’s most distinctive figures.
