Toto – Turn Back (E/E) – LP, JP 1981, With OBI

Turn Back is an LP by Toto from 1981 released on the CBS/Sony label.

About this album

Turn Back finds Toto leaning into a tougher, more guitar-driven sound without losing the polished pop-rock craft that made the band stand out. Issued in 1981, the album followed their breakthrough debut and showed a group still refining its identity, with tighter arrangements, bright harmonies and more direct hard-rock bite. Songs such as “Gift with a Golden Gun” and “Goodbye Elenore” highlight the band’s technical precision and melodic instinct, while the record’s mix of studio discipline and arena-ready chorus writing helped cement Toto’s reputation as one of the era’s most accomplished mainstream rock bands.
