Sefronia is an LP by Tim Buckley from 1973 released on the Discreet label.

About this album

Sefronia is one of Tim Buckley’s most striking and underrated early-70s albums, balancing folk intimacy with soul, funk and avant-garde experimentation. Issued in 1973, it reflects the period when Buckley was pushing far beyond his folk beginnings, using richer arrangements and a broader emotional palette to challenge expectations of his voice and songwriting. The album’s mix of cover material and original compositions shows both his interpretive reach and his growing appetite for risk. For listeners tracing Buckley’s evolution, Sefronia captures a restless artist refusing to stay in any single style for long.
