Thee Oh Sees – Drop (E/E) – LP, US 2017

Drop is an LP by Thee Oh Sees from 2017 released on the Castle Face label.

About this album

Drop finds Thee Oh Sees sharpening their psychedelic garage attack into a frantic, hook-heavy blast of noise and momentum. Released in 2014, the album sits in the prolific late period of John Dwyer’s band, when their sound balanced jagged repetition, blown-out guitars and wiry melody with increasing precision. Built for speed and impact, it reflects the group’s reputation for turning garage-rock rawness into something tightly controlled and ferociously alive. With its propulsive energy and heavy reverb, Drop stands as a standout example of the band’s restless, high-volume evolution.
