Little Games is an LP by The Yardbirds from 1985 released on the Fame label.
About this album
Little Games is a striking late-period Yardbirds album that bridges blues-rock roots with the emerging language of psychedelia and pop. Issued in 1967, it was the band’s only studio album with Jimmy Page before the group dissolved, giving it a pivotal place in his pre-Led Zeppelin story. The title track, ‘White Summer’ and the eerie ‘Glimpses’ show a band pushing beyond their R&B beginnings into more experimental territory, while still keeping a sharp melodic edge. Recorded during a turbulent phase for the group, the album has become an important document of transition and one of the Yardbirds’ most distinctive releases.
