About this album
Live At The Forum finds The Teskey Brothers turning their modern soul revival into a commanding live statement. Recorded at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre in 2019 and released in 2020, the set showcases the band’s husky vocals, gospel-tinged harmonies and tightly wound rhythm section in a room built for drama. Their blend of vintage soul, blues and Australian grit gives songs such as So Caught Up, Carry You and a searing take on Jealous Guy real emotional lift. The result is a vivid document of a band whose reputation was built as much on intensity and musicianship as on studio craft.
