Love You Live is an LP by The Rolling Stones from 1977 released on the Rolling Stones Records label.
About this album
Love You Live captures the Rolling Stones in full live-band mode, drawing on shows from 1975 and 1976 to underline how sharply they could turn studio material into something tougher and looser on stage. The set mixes signatures such as Honky Tonk Women, Tumbling Dice and You Can’t Always Get What You Want with blues and rock ’n’ roll roots material, including Mannish Boy and Around and Around. Issued in 1977, it reflects the group’s post-Exile era confidence and their continuing ability to bridge hard rock spectacle with American roots music. Rather than a neat greatest-hits package, it documents a band still defining the live rock template.
