The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues (2xLP)

"Foreign Tongues", the Rolling Stones' new studio album, comprises 14 songs and comes less than three years after its multi-award-winning predecessor "Hackney Diamonds", which reached top positions in the charts worldwide and was awarded multiple platinum awards.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy lead single "In The Stars".

"Foreign Tongues" was recorded within a month at Metropolis Studios in West London, where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood once again worked with Grammy award-winning producer Andrew Watt. The result is a dynamic, contemporary album that picks up on the band's characteristic sound and at the same time sets new accents in terms of sound and content.

In addition to the central contributions from Jagger, Richards and Wood, the album also features long-standing musical companions such as Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan. The album also includes a special contribution from Charlie Watts, recorded during one of his last recording sessions before his death in 2021. The project is complemented by guest appearances from Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith (The Cure) and Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.
